Omega 3

We all know that omega 3 is good for you... mainly to improve your cardiovascular health, but also with neurological benefits.

But how to get the same benefits from vegetarian/vegan sources??
Most studies are performed on fish oil supplements... so in theory we need to try and match this.
The best vegetarian/vegan source at present looks like oil from microalgae.

Being Vegetarian in an omnivorous world

You might think that it is difficult to have your food choices reduced... but really it just depends on how you look at it!

Most restaurants will have a couple of vegetarian options, well-hidden amongst a list of very meat-biased dishes. As a vegetarian, you end up trying all sorts of dishes that you wouldn't otherwise... simply because it's the only vegetarian dish on the menu. I doubt there are many vegetables I haven't tried!  About me

I've been a vegetarian for over 19 years... so obviously I have eaten a lot of vegetarian meals.

I am a Buddhist, which for me is very much related to my choice of lifestyle.

Finally, I have a background in health.
